Mark Bayley to serve as Network Vice-Chair
Date: November 22, 2018
Dr. Mark Bayley has taken on the role of Vice-Chair of the Network’s Coordinating Council.
Mark was appointed Physiatrist-in-Chief at Toronto Rehab/UHN earlier this fall following the retirement of Dr. Gaétan Tardif. He also serves as Medical Program Director and holds the Saunderson Family Chair in Brain Injury Research. His research explores strategies to increase the use of best practices to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
Mark has played a long-standing leadership role with the Network. He led the Network’s development of population-specific rehab definitions, which were a precursor to the RCA’s definitions frameworks. He has also been actively involved in the collaboration between the Network and the Toronto Stroke Networks on improving the flow for patients with stroke and hip fracture with complex needs.
Welcome Mark!
