At the request of members, the Network is monitoring issues in the MOHLTC hip and knee bundled funding pilot related to patients with complex needs. The tracking will provide a better picture of how these patients fit into the proposed funding model for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative care.

The Network will monitor how closely the care pathway for these patients matches proposed pricing and gather data on clinical or other factors contributing to issues such as longer length of stay or delays in accessing rehabilitation. The information will inform conversations with the LHINs and the Ministry regarding funding issues.
