Best Practices Day 2023 was a success, with nearly 180 attendees joining virtually to choose from six concurrent sessions and enjoy rapid podium presentations, virtual poster displays and online networking opportunities.

The Network was pleased to have Dr. Karima Velji, Chief of Nursing & Professional Practice and Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for the Province of Ontario, on hand to present a thought-provoking keynote address. Other expert presenters offered meaningful insights into Ontario’s ongoing health human resources challenges, the power of rehab to optimize the health care system, care for long COVID-19 patients, implementation of post-fall pathways in the emergency department, and many other rehab best practices.
